Videographer

A while back, two of my larger clients came to me at about the same time, and asked if I could shoot aerial video for them. I knew right away that I couldn't just hang a camera out of a moving, shaking, helicopter and hope to come away with good video. So after doing some research, I purchased a two axis, gyro stabilizer to "smooth" the video, and started shooting aerial video for a few clients with several projects all over Maine. Then, one of those clients asked me to start shooting video on the ground, at their construction sites. One day, at a meeting with that client, they asked me to put together a quote to do a four minute, totally aerial video of one of their wind farm projects in Northern Maine. This was a big step, as it's one thing to shoot video clips, but quite another to pull those together into a polished, professional video.

In House Production

We team up with Middle Street Marketing for our production. They have been my marketing gurus and have handled my website for several years. They are fully versed in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. These are the professional level "tools" of a video editor.

Types of Video

So, with me shooting the video, Matt editing it, and both of us acting as producers, we completed the project for the client, on time and at budget. The best part was that the client was thrilled with the video, and immediately hired us to shoot a second project. Since then, we've done videos for real estate companies, other construction companies, and a couple of commercials. We can shoot video from the air, on the ground, or in (and under) the water. We shoot with high end Canon DSLR's, with extremely good low light sensitivity. Using DSLR's also allows us to use different lenses to create different "looks". Shallow or deep depth of field, video shot from a half mile away, or even night-time aerial video. We also have sliders and mini booms for different angles and effects.

Digital Graphics and Music

We have the ability to create several video effects, both in camera and in post processing as well as company "intros", including your logo. We have a library of in house music pieces, and access to whatever type of music your project calls for. We use Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects, and can create unique graphics for your piece, including intro's using your company's logo.
